I am originally from New York State, growing up on Long Island. I attended art school in upstate NY, at Alfred University where I earned a BFA with a concentration in ceramics and a minor in music. I worked for several years in a ceramic's studio, teaching classes, making work and managing the studio. In 2005 I followed my passion for teaching and went to graduate school in Brooklyn, NY at Pratt Institute. After ten years of living in NYC I decided to relocate to Wilmington to be near family and the beach. This is my sixth year teaching at Ashley HS and I am happy to be a part of the Ashley community!
